Hi ,

Will there be a market if I give a tool which migrates Oracle database from One OS to another OS. (Data file migration at Operating System Level.)

i.e it will convert from Oracle data files on NT to Oracle Datafiles on Solaris and vice versa. In the target database you need to recreate the control files and you are done. You can startup the database. You don't need to export/import or CTAS over dblink..

Send your replies directly to me..

Thanks Yong..for bringing the cat out of the basket ;)

Have a nice day !!

Best Regards,
K Gopalakrishnan,
Bangalore, INDIA.
