hi dba gurus

how to find out the length of rows?

my table has 5 columns their sizes are datatypes are

col1 VC2(12)
COL2 DATE
COL3 VC2(12)
COL4 CHAR(25)
COL5 VC2(7) what is the principle to calculate average row length?

is it vsize(col1)+vsize(col2)+ .......

and what parameters should i consider when calcculating row length? like null etc..
