Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Chuck, Most ODBC drivers have an idle timeout. There are none that I know of with a timeout while your churning on it. Is this a WEB based application? Some of those, especially with IIS, have a timeout on the web server. Dick Goulet ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Author: "Speaks; Chuck W." Date: 8/8/2001 7:51 AM Sorry for the OT. Does anyone know if ODBC has a timeout setting? I have a developer using ODBC to access a database through a custom app. After a couple of minutes of churning on the call, we get the ODBC-call failed error. However, using the same ODBC driver in Access, I'm able to access the database without any problems. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
