This is a restriction of DBMS_OUTPUT. It can only output a line of up to 255 characters. To fix it, you'll need to break up the output into multiple lines or use DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT instead of DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE to concatonate several pieces together into one line.
