I use RMAN to do incremental backups every day. It works great!

Lisa - I don't think there is enough beer for me to trust RMAN to do incremental backups :-). I just need sleep, puppies are a lot of work, but worth it!

Gene, just do it. Incremental backups in rman are going to help you backup a 1tb database. Promise. Just try it, you'll like it. If not I'll owe you a bunch of beer.
