oracle 6i designer problem in installing

Dear Sir/Madam,

While installing designer 2000(6i), after creating repository at the end of installation i am facing this error:

ORA-01041 (INTERNAL ERROR HOSTDEF EXTENSION DOESN'T EXIST) CAUSE - POINTER TO HSTDEF EXTENSION IN HSTDEF IS NULL. ACTION - REPORT AS A BUG.(CONTACT ORACLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT) can anybody help me to resolve this problem Thanks in advance
