How do you specify direct I/O option in /etc/vfstab?

Direct I/O is enabled simply be specifying in the mount options in /etc/vfstab (on Solaris). You can do it even with standard ufs volumes. As long as you have vxfs then you can also have vxfs with direct IO

Quick I/O is the separately licensed bit I think - it should also outperform Direct I/O.

Still - I'm a fan of raw over either...

Cheers
