I remember when I was in 10th
grade, and we had an assignment to write a paper that was to be three pages "double spaced".
 
I didn't know what double
spaced meant (and, being a boy, was too stupid to ask - no comments from the smart women out there) that I  typed it  with  double  spaces  between  each  word.
 
Was this a bad
thing?
