I pre-ordered it about a month ago and just got a notice from Amazon yesterday that they were mailing it out.

By this do you mean you're still working on obtaining a copy, or you're still working on reading it? I haven't seen any copies at the bookstore, and last time I checked Amazon said they could deliver in one to two weeks, which tells me they don't have any copies in stock but expect it soon. Just wondering....
