Helo guru's

i found one ? in self test as follows:

q)why is it not bebeficial to use RMAN when performing incomplete recovery?

  1. A full offline backup is required after the recovery operations are complete.

Now my question is, In general, in case of incomplete recovery we should do the backup.

But here what is the specific reason form doing offline backup? i cann't do online backup itself .

I get confused. Pls help me.

Regards,
Nirmal.
