We use Netbackup, not sure about BLI, and SQLBacktrack for several years. The only problems we have ever had were with Netbackup. BMC has taken over the creation of the NB OBSI which allows the two to communicate. That should help prevent problems and finger pointing in the future. We love SQLBacktrack. It works great and gives us a standard method of backup and recovery.

All

Does anyone have any experience of either of these products. I am about to do a comparison/evaluation so any experiences with either would be helpful.

Both will be interfacing with Netbackups tape management system, on predominately HP-UX.

Regards
Simon
