Upgrade one Site

Hello,

I writing one document about how and what we need to upgrade on our production site - Does not exist today -

We have already found 3 upgrade groups.

1-      Our software
2-      Third party's software - Oracle, BEA,...-
3-      Hardware upgrades.

Is there anybody that have some good links our docs that can help me/us with this task ?
