I have just received some notes from one our applications support, and they suggest after I compute statistics for the objects within their schema, that I then
delete those statistics where num_rows * avg_row_len < 65000 ??

What affect could this possibly have on the system ?

I thought you would want statistics on all objects for the optimizer to function efficently

Thank you in advance

Darren
