There is a tool in the WinNT Resource Kit that lets you look at individual threads per process. I don't remember what the name is, but it's in there.

Try doing a select against v$session and v$bgprocess you should from v$bgprocess you should get a DBW0 and DBW1 under the listing of background processes.

select s.sid, s.serial#, s.schemaname, s.program, b.name from v$session s, v$bgprocess b
where s.paddr = b.paddr;
