What are you trying to work around?

Setting the tns_admin environment variable will mean you will need only 1 copy of tnsnames.ora, sqlnet.ora, listener.ora. Oracle supplies the "Home Selector" (ohsel.exe) but this is a GUI only application.
The Home Selector will change the paths for you - is this what you are after?

I guess you could use something like the Microsoft ScriptIt tool to call the Home Selector from a batch
or you could write the commands yourself in a batch file.

But it all depends on what you are trying to achieve.

Becoz sometime we just mass out the registry and keep patch in several registry to keep it work.

If there a utility from Oracle call "HOME SWITCH" , If not mistake , I did read out some of the out topic which is discuss over here , but I search through the oracle package CD, still can't find it. ??Can any guru point to me ?
