Hallo all you gurus,

Why doesnt this if statement work?

I would like to do an insert into the table errorlog if the vOWNER_NO has an id whichdoesnt exist in vSubOWNER_NO
How should I write the if statement?

IF vOWNER_NO <> vSUB_OWNER_NO
THEN

     vInfo:= 'Script: make_file_se.vSUB_OWNER_NO:
     ' || vSUB_OWNER_NO;
     vsqlerrm:=SQLERRM;
     INSERT INTO ERRORLOG
     VALUES(vinfo, vsqlerrm, SYSDATE);
     COMMIT;

END IF; Sincerely

Roland Sköldblom
