That won't help either..
I tried it with 8.1.7 on HP-UX 11.0 and AIX 4.3.3.

hpserv1 [ICDP]: sqlplus -s /nolog
set feedback off
conn system/manager
Connected.

I don't think it is possible to suppers 'Connected.' with '/nolog' and 'connect' options.
