>From MetaLink 'My Headlines':

Temporary Interruption in MetaLink TAR functionality Asia Pacific and United Kingdom only.

Pacific countries only)
Date: Saturday, May 5th, 2001 (GMT Saturday May 5, 2001 at 7:00:00PM) Time: 1:00pm MST (GMT Saturday May 5, 2001 at 7:00:00 PM) Duration: Approximately 4 hours.

In order to perform an upgrade to Oracle's internal call tracking system hardware, it will be necessary to temporarily disable the iTAR query functionality on MetaLink This interruption in functionality will only impact the United Kingdom and Asia Pacific countries. It will not be possible for customers in these countries to query open TARS using MetaLink. TAR modifications and TAR creations will be available but these changes will remain in a queued state ( not transferred to Oracle's internal system)until after the 4 hour maintenance period. Therefore, the countries effected by this downtime will need to call their local support center with any critical issues.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for your patience.

Thank you!
The MetaLink Team
