'Oracle heterogeneous services' are purchased separately. They are services
that run on the target systems that allow Oracle to talk to them through Net*8. We use an Oracle gateway to talk to our AS400s. For the most part, this works well. Call your rep.

Hi All !!

I have a DBA question. Can we make a DB link for nonoracle databases ! The answer is
'YES' , I know. But How.

The documentation says you will have to use Oracle hetrogeneous services. There is no explaination any further.

I want my Oracle database to gather data from a SQL server . Both are on NT.

Thanks in Advance.

Deepender
