Um. Sorry, I left some very relevant information out of my rants, I guess. I've already determined that for what we want, DB2 is just fine. Heck, we could get by with SQLServer if I was feeling adventurous enough. Yeah, when you need every last ounce of horsepower, cost is less of a factor, but that's not us.
