Oracle Reports - SQL

Hi

I started to work with Oracle Reports (2.5.5). My first task to maintenance of existing reports. On one of them I need to change the SQL - whenever I change it, the data model changes - some columns get moved between groups. Is it the reports' behavior or do I miss a setting?
