And I thought it was an old oil company. Their gas station symbol was a dinosaur (not to be confused with "put a tiger in your tank"). I vaguely recall the Sinclair exhibit at the 1967 World's Fair, and I still have a blue plastic model of one of their dinosaurs.

Sinclair was a brand of personal computers that came out in the UK about 20 years ago,
If memory serves , they started of with the ZX 81 which had a whole 1K of memory.

Their next offering was the Spectrum 16K followed by the 48K. with rubber keys and programmable in basic.
I remember back in the early 80's I got one for my 14th birthday and that set me on the downward spiral to
where I am now :-) as a dba

they subsequently went bust, and I still have that Spectrum 48K after nearly 20 years.
You can get emulaters for it on the PC.

Any more spectrum owners out there that want to admit to it ? Brian
