Rahul,

You can set the time so it won't recognize Daylight Savings Time, if that's what the problem is. The sysadmin needs to do the following:

smitty
choose System Environments
choose Change / Show Date and Time
choose Change Time Zone Using System Defined Values

You'll get a pop-up window that asks the following:

                        Use DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME? x
  x
x
x Move cursor to desired item and press Enter. x
  x
x
x # Does this time zone go on
x
  x # DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME?
x
  x #
x
  x 1 yes
x
  x 2 no

Depending on what you choose, you'll get a list to set the timezone. This should take care of it.
