Generating Forms through API or Designer

Hi Listers,

I have the following questions:

I would like to generate Developer Forms fmb files through my C++ application. Is it difficult? Did any of you do similar things? I know Forms have an API for this, but I don't know how complex is it. I have pretty simple Forms. Should I try or should I forget it?
Does Oracle Designer 6i's Forms generator's revers engineering engine preserve or recapture the Form layout modifications I make on the generated Forms?
