But if everyone gives up on Metastink, then they'll be very interested in 9i because it eliminates the need for a dba or a developer or an iTAR.

They say there is unexpected demand. They created it by refusing to talk to anyone without their opening an iTar so how can they say it was unexpected. Maybe they are counting on everyone giving up on Metalink thereby reducing demand ..
