Jonathan,

Which Veritas product are you curious about? Likely Veritas NetBackup for Oracle I'll assume...but maybe your curious about their file system (VxFS) or volume manager (VxVM)??

I think NetBackup for Oracle is a very robust product...and I see quite a few requirements for the product in many job reqs. They have some really good white papers on their site about using the product with Oracle databases...specifically about BLI (Block Level Incremental) backups, etc.

They also have a new product suite: Veritas Database Edition for Oracle!
