RE: Oracle Books on Audio Tapes

My problem is not with the blind, I'm blind in one eye myself, but how you would represent tables, flow diagrams, etc on an audio tape. For example the possible permutations in a select clause. A flow diagram shows it very clearly, but to describe it would take a tape in it's self. All text books or manuals are fine on tape, but not technical manuals. How would you translate a book on the structure of an automobile engine with all it's components without photographs and diagrams?

I heard somewhere that the person who can read but doesn't delivers the same results as someone who can't read at all.

So it's what we do, not the skill set we have in our portfolio that matters.

People too often base their opinions on appearance, hearsay, or what a person could do and did in the past.

My CDN$0.02. I'm philosophical today. Too many times I didn't do something when I could, and that only leads to regrets because the opportunity is lost. (birthdays get to me...)
