Another option is to create a table with a large varchar2 column and insert the data row by row.
You can then spool a SELECT from that table to a file.

e.g.
create table hold_output
(mytext varchar2(4000)
tablespace ts_small;

Hi,

This is my first attempt at writing a PL/SQL procedure. Everything works fine, except I have a firly large table I am running against. I am trying to display my output with DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE. I have set the buffer size to 1000000, apparently the maximum value, but it still isn't enough to print output for my entire table. Is there another way to display data? Or is there some way to increase the maximum?
