Daily checks
- Oracle Alert file logs

Weekly checks
- free space in Tablespaces, Tables, Indexes and Clusters

Monthly checks
- fragmentation in Tables, Indexes and Clusters

I am a new DBA, can you please tell me what are the common task list as DBA for Oracle8i on Solaris 7. I mean things that I should do and check regularly.
I know backup is one of them.
