Hi ,
if I'm not wrong,
it's because there is another instance use the same db name. check ur initSID.ora

Dear Listers ,

yesterday , I've created 2nd database for Test using Database Assistant on NT.
and I also shutdown my Test Server later.

this morning , when I tried to Startup both of My DB , I found ORA-01102 error :can not mount database exclusively.

My 1st database is able to be started in OPEN mode , but I can not startup my 2nd database .

please help me , how to solve it...
