You use the orapwd utility to change the remote internal password on unix. The default file name is $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/orapw$ORACLE_SID. Also, when you log in as internal locally, you don't need a password as long as the id you log in with is part of the dba unix group.   Nihar <nihar_at_netmagicsolutions.com> wrote:
