It's
some sort of java runtime thingy, I downloaded it from sun.  It's jdk 1.3 or something like that.  Pocket DBA needs it, but I am not sure what was up with Oracle.  And now that you mention it, I wonder if this is going to hose Oracle, I mean the new jdk.  I remstalled it.  I guess we'll see if I am reporting a bug later on this week.

size=2>Check this out, this is a known bug with Pentium 4 processors and     Netware.  However, after tredging through Metaslink I found something     that pointed me in the right direction.  Apperantly Oracle installer     doesn't like it when you have different versions of Java on your     machine.  I installed some Java runtime environment program for Pocket     DBA and that is what was hosing the install.  Once I removed that     program it worked.....oh the joy!

      Hi all,
              I am trying to
install 8.1.7 EE on and NT 4.0 server and I am getting one
strange error.  The error is....it gets to 99% and
disappears!!  I believe that I have seen this
before, but I don't remember what it was.  Has anyone
      experienced this?  Help!!
      Sincerely, Kevin Kostyszyn
