Experiences with AIX and NIS+

Does anyone have any experience with AIX in an NIS+ environment. In theory, this is possible. So far, we have not be able to get it to work. AIX and Oracle 8.1.7 work well with local accounts for Oracle and the DBAs. Automounting file systems has been successful. However, NIS+ just does not work and throws all sorts of other errors that crashes everything.

Has anyone successfully done this?
