Hi list

Does anyone have any tales to tell of using MONITORING and the 'GATHER STALE' option of the dbms_stats.gather* procedures? Someone here has suggested that we use it for a new product we're developing, but I am a little concerned over whether the monitoring has any significant performance impact.

TIA
