Hey guys,

I have a quick question about the management server service: Oracle 8.1.6 R2 Win2K box.

I have just installed OEM 2.1 on my machine, and when trying to start the management server I get the following error:

Could not start the OracleOraHome81ManagementServer service on Local Computer.

Error 997: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.

Does anybody know a way of getting around this?

I'm in a bit of a rush on this one so a quick response would be greatly appreciated.

TIA Mark
