Hi Ronen,

In all the shops I have worked in, when we released a new version of the system (including changes to the schema), we would 'version' the application. All new development would happen against the new version, but bug fixes could be checked (and patches generated from) the 'frozen' previous version. We could then open that previous 'version', and run the reconcile against the currently implemented database (which would have all the changes since the last version).

Alternatively, if I remember correctly, you might be able to specify the set of scripts to use (certainly you can do that to 'reverse engineer' a database).

Finally, take the scripts, run them to create a pristine new database, and use this resulting database (if you are not happy to use your 'existing' database) to run the reconcile against ...
