My from address comes through (I can see it in Outlook) but I don't see the To: address but this doesn't really affect us. In OEM, my senders address is set to "oem.bb@x.y.com.au" where x.y.com.au is a real valid domain, but oem.bb is not a valid email address. Hope this helps, Bruce -----Original Message----- Sent: Wednesday, 7 February 2001 14:11 We're using Ver 2.1 (or is it 2.2) of OEM. Anyway, the SMTP mail gateway is an Exchange mail server. The problem: the "from address" gets dropped somewhere, and never appears on the received email. We have tried sending email to all of the following, with the same result - no "from address" on the email: - Known Exchange server known mail box - Known Exchange server distribution list with known exchange mail box on the list - Known Exchange server distribution list with known Internet email address on the list - Known Internet email address We have also tried all forms of the "from address" on the SMTP configuration for OEM, but that does not matter either. I don't know Exchange, and I'm beginning to think that the Exchange admin person does not know much about it either. Oracle says "nothing wrong with OEM", so we are stuck for now. Any ideas on how to fix this problem of the missing "from address"?
