From waysonkw@mail.milwaukee.k12.wi.us Tue, 06 Feb 2001 14:01:23 -0800 From: Kent Wayson Date: Tue, 06 Feb 2001 14:01:23 -0800 Subject: Oracle Installer font problem Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Hello, all. I'm trying to run the Oracle installer. It launches fine, but some of the fonts are not legible. Namely, the smaller font(s), which is/are used on the buttons, error messages, and description/instruction text. This is complicated (or perhaps caused) by that fact that I'm trying to install this on a server with no console, so I'm running an xterm emulator from my PC. I have all the fonts I need (according to the scant documentation provided by the vendor of MI/X), they're in the right place, and they've got entries in the fonts.dir file. Server ------ HP-UX 11.0 Oracle 8.1.6 Installer PC -- Win98 MI/X xterm emulator Any suggestions (better xterm emulator?)
