  To the best of my knowledge there are no Windows based system   that can take advantage of this, single thread   management can be enough a problem sometimes..

  There is an event (I think it is 10351) can be used to   trace the AIO system calls and this event is specific   to solaris.
  Level 1 traces the errors & Level
  2 traces the System calls Received on Thu Feb 01 2001 - 10:43:03 CST
