Dear Arul,
since the table is read only,you can not delete from or update of its rows, naturally. moreover you can not truncate the table because extent deallocation causes change on the data file of the read only tablespace. However you can drop table because this effects the data dictionary only.

Anybody ready to answer the following question ? ? ? ? ?

In ur database PROD_DATA tablespace ,which is read only tablespace ,contains
PROD table.

Which of the following is true.

  1. u can drop the table
  2. U can delete the rows from the table,but can not drop the table.
  3. U can drop the table bbut cannot delete rows from it.
  4. U can Insert,update & delete rows of the Table.
  5. U can truncate the table.
