On a similar note, I noticed that if you shrink a rollback segment without explicitly specifying a new size, it shrinks to the optimal size minus one block size, if the optimal size is set to the rollback segment. Or it shrinks to minextents size minus one block size if the optimal size is not set.

Oracle documentation could have been clearer about this.

#0. Use the Oracle utility dbfsize to verify the amount of blocks. So = then
compare it with the result from v$datafile.
