i really like and use sql backtrack (on around 20 servers), makes things
very easy and allows me to keep 2-3 days worth of backups on disk so i
don't have to go to tape to do a recovery. i prefer compuwares ecotools
over bmc for monitoring the db/server/log files/security/etc... but it
costs more.
