Compaq Tru64 4.0f

SQL> show sga

Total System Global Area 3590603176 bytes

Fixed Size 94632 bytes
Variable Size 702812160 bytes
Database Buffers 2867200000 bytes
Redo Buffers 20496384 bytes

We are in the process of looking to see if we can reduce that without = impacting performance negatively, but we have the memory available on the = box so we made it huge. Or is it huge? Any TOPPER's out there?

Out of curiosity...........................

What is the largest SGA anybody has used (or seen) in a Solaris environment?
Or any UNIX for that matter.

Thanks.
