Oracle Path in Windows 2000

I am trying to install an application called Filenet. This application needs
at least Net8 to be available to install. Problem I have is that I have Designer
in my default home which uses SQL*Net and my Net8 installations in other homes. In theory all I need to do is have one of the other homes first in my
path. I know that to be true because we have done it many times.

When you look at the environment variables that Windows 2000 things I have my path is correct. The Oracle Home with Net8 is first. However, in Dos it shows the default home first. Now in NT I would just update the autoexec.bat
but I no longer seem to have that. Someone here claims that you can just tell Dos based applications to use the environment variables of the Windows environment instead but I cannot find that setting (and neither can he). Does
anyone have any idea how I can change that path for dos?

Thanks a head of time
