Hi guys,

I have a user which has for ex.. 100 tables.

i need to create a new user and allow the user to access the 'SELECT' on all the tables of the above user.

What i had done is created a newuser and created a role in the user which has 100 tables and issued

grant select on <100_table_names_here> to Role_1. and
grant role_1 to USER2.

When the user issues a select statement on a table he has to issue the username.table_name to select data.

is there any other way to access the tables without mentioning the username.

Varma.
