Does everyone create a separate instance each time you install a vendor package? If so, do you have multiple instances running on the same machine (ie. we are running Unix, and our management thinks fewer bigger machines is much better than many smaller ones)? Because of our management pressure, we have only one production instance with several different tablespaces for the various packages. I'm guessing this is only the first of many problems we could run into. Any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated! Thanks - and have a great weekend - Lisa ---------- From: Eric D.
