This means that there is no necessity for importing the data since a complete refresh will take a lot of time and it will not help the original cause for importing. This way of implementing the snapshots is not right for the original cause ?
Correct me if I am wrong !

I think that Barry's right. The snapshot logs wouldn't know about the imported tables. Your best shot is to do a complete refresh of the snapshot or increase the refresh interval of your snapshot. This is just one of the pains of snapshots.

Why would this work ?
A fast refresh depends on the data in the snapshot logs at the remote site. In this scenario the logs should indicate that all rows need to refresh ??

Hello DBAs,
How are you doing?
Enjoying Weekend .... :-)

Okay, Coming to the point....

We are replicating a table from Remote database to local database using
Snapshots.
Since remote table has huge number of records, instead of replicating
initially using Snapshots, we just exported and imported to the local
table
to avoid network traffic.

NOW, we need to implement the Snapshot between these 2 table as Fast
Refresh.

Is it possible to have a snapshot between the IMPORTED local table to
the
Remote Table?
Will the data be updated(Refreshed) to the local table from the point
where
we did import?

Any Work around please...

Thank you very much DBAs
Have a nice days...

Bye
