John

I asked the same question of Oracle for Oracle7.3.4 and the answer was there is nowhere in the data dictionary to tell you when the index was last rebuilt. I've looked and looked in Oracle8 but still cannot find anything (I'd love to be proved wrong on that, anybody?).

Regards

Can anybody help me identify when an index was last built please

I can tell when an index was created or ddl changed from user_indexes but I cannot see any way of telling when the index was last built. Has anybody any thoughts on this please.

Thanks in advance Received on Tue Jan 02 2001 - 10:21:16 CST
