While trying to migrate a database instance from 7.3.4 to 8.1.5, the command did not create the convSID.dbf file.  I don't have any error message.  Here is what I've done
1.  I'm connected as an oracle user (7.3.4)
2.  I stopped the 7.3.4 database instance
3. I moved to the 8.1.5 oracle home
4.  I set up environment variables
    setenv ORACLE_SID bdell11
    setenv NLS_LANG AMERICAN_AMERICA.US7ASCII
    setenv ORANLS33 /export/home/users/oradev/app/oracle/product/7.3.4/ocommon/nls/admin/data
5.  I run the migration command
    mig spool=\"/export/home/users/oradev/app/oracle/product/7.3.4/mig.log\" check_only=true

But this does not generate the convSID.dbf file.

What step did I omit ?

Help !!!!!
