Ed,
The description you gave lists the possible causes for the errors. Perhaps = there is a table that is common to your modules that has a column name = that became reserved in the new version. It will take a lot of investigatio= n to find it and then the code will have to be changed. Did you test the = upgrade on a development or test platform? Did the problem show up on the = development or test machine?
What was the text that was included with the ORA message? ROR m=AA=BF=AAm

Hi,

one of our customers have upgraded db server from 7.3.4 to 8.1.6. Since = that
time they get multiple ORA-904 errors:

ORA-00904 invalid column name

Cause: The column name entered is either missing or invalid.=20

Action: Enter a valid column name. A valid column name must begin with a letter, be less=20
than or equal to 30 characters, and consist of only alphanumeric = characters
and the special=20
characters $, _, and #. If it contains other characters, it must be enclosed in double quotation marks.=20
It may not be a reserved word.

The errors appear in all modules of our system.

Did anybody encounter such situation before? I would be appreciate for any help or tip.

Ed
